OPEN RAPID TOURNAMENT “Kosteniuk” / 12-10-2009
The Athens Chess Festival continued on Monday 12/10 with the Open Rapid Tournament “Kosteniuk” lasting seven (7) rounds. Thirty-six (36) chess players took part to claim the top three positions to qualify for the Simul on Wednesday 14/10 with the Women’s World Chess Champion GM Alexandra Kosteniuk. The winners are:
